Between 2019 and and 2023 there was a lot of personal work and idea development.
2019 - 2021: Personal development of founder and work expertise were honed
2021: "UrSkilled" became the chosen name for a new venture with a mission to create an ecoskilled marketplace where people with various skills could come together to connect, sell their skills, and rebuild and beautify their communities.
09/13/2022: We made it official and registered UrSkilled
2022 - 2023: We tested our skills and services against the market while developing ideas that would benefit small businesses and startups

UrSkilled was born out of the times with a desire to empower individuals and businesses. As an alternative marketplace, u are and will be able to exchange commodities, services, or goods through services/goods exchange, traditional payment methods (Stripe), barter points, or cryptocurrency. We want to create opportunities for growth, which is why we are currently offering free access to our platform, with only payment processing fees in place.

To us patriotism is a virtue and UrSkilled was born out of a deep love for the country, and local businesses, professionals, farmers, and others who make up the rich history and story that is the United States.

Business (created by a professional-admin, who creates a business profile [entrepreneur], sells, subscriptions, services or bundles, and can build out their professional team, with each professional being allowed to have their own individual store while contributing to the success of the Business's store)

UrSkilled is a B2B and B2C platform; an ecoskilled alternative marketplace where businesses, professionals, and consumers can shop and sell skills, knowing that they are supporting businesses and individuals in their community who share their same values, supporting families, their local communities, and our nation.

Add ur first service, subscription, or bundle to ur professional independent store and/or business store.
We review all submissions before ur professional, business, and store pages go live so please be patient as we are a startup and need 3-5 days to make sure u can present urself and ur skills professionally. Once everything is live we will notify u and u can edit from ur user account moving forward.

We are a startup alternative marketplace. As we add additional professionals and businesses we'll give u more reasons for wanting to keep coming back.
What does an alternative marketplace mean?
As an alternative marketplace we want to give individuals and businesses the freedom to pay and accept as payment alternative payment methods to get what they need to survive and thrive. That means we encourage cryptocurrency, sweat equity, company shares, service, or product exchange, and payment processors (e.g., Stripe).
As our founder's letter states, we will be adding alternative payment methods in the near future as we are still a startup and are focused on getting our platform running smoothly and adding client-users, professionals, and businesses. If u do already accept alternative payment methods, or want to know if a professional or business accepts alternative payment methods, reach out to them via whatever contact information is made available on the respective professional's or business's profile.
